What We Believe (Statement of Faith)

The Walking Tracts Ministry bases its ministry on the following statement of faith:

1.  We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God and His only infallible directive to the World. 1 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Timothy 3:15-17; John 3:16.

​

2. We believe in a triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, eternally existent in One Spirit: Matthew 28:19; John 10:30; Ephesians 4:4-6.

​

3. We believe in the reality of Heaven and Hell and that God will reward the righteous with eternal life in Heaven, and the unrighteous to everlasting Hell. Luke 24:46-47; John 14:6. Acts 4:12; Romans 3:23; 2:8-9.

4. We believe that the ministry of evangelism is a responsibility of all followers of Jesus Christ. Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8; Romans 10:9-15; 1 Peter 3:15.

5. We believe God’s plan for human sexuality is to be expressed between male and female as the foundation of the human family. Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4-6, Mark 10:6-9; Romans 1:26-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9.

6. We believe that even "Born Again" Christians can be lost if salvation is miss cared. Mathew 24:13, Hebrews 10:26, 1 Corinthians 9:27, Luke 9:62.

7. We believe that we must dedicate ourselves to prayers and the study of the Bible as the cornerstone to a blessed relationship with God. Mathew 26:41, Colossians 4:2, Philippians 4:5-7, Hebrews 5:7, James 5:16, 1 Timothy 2:8, Psalm 119:15-16, Hebrews 4:12, Ephesians 6:17, Acts 17:11, 2 Timothy 3:16-17.

 

8. We believe that human life is sacred from conception to its natural end. Psalm 139:13 Isaiah 49:1, Jeremiah 1:5, Matthew 22:37-39, Romans 12:20-21.
